A Taste of the Program

The MASCC/ISOO 2015 Scientific Committee and Meeting Chair, Jørn Herrstedt, have put together an exciting program of presentations, workshops, discussions and debates.

The scientific program will focus on current research in the areas of Supportive and Palliative Care, e.g. treatment and techniques for minimizing treatment-induced side effects as well as the psychological, social and spiritual dimensions of cancer diagnosis and treatment.

MASCC/ISOO 2015 has 5 different workshops on offer as part of the scientific program. The mucositis research workshop will provide an informal venue for in-depth discussion of the latest advances in mucositis research. The group will also discuss new opportunities for research and collaboration. Space will be limited so we advise you to register and secure your participation early to join a morning workshop in your chosen field.


The MASCC in Cancer Distinguished Service Award recognizes meritorious achievement and outstanding contribution to the MASCC society and its mission. This award will be presented at the MASCC/ISOO Annual Meeting. Nomination forms are due by 1 April 2015, please view the website for all the rules and regulations concerning the nomination and selection process.
